Being the new owner of an iphone 6s plus, I noticed that the iphone cases were, well… UGLY (grin) and so in my usual fashion, I went hunting for a clever way to personalize my iphone with a DIY iPhone Covers and found an awesome solution at the ‘Happy Happy Nester’ website. I LOVE this idea because it can be changed anytime the mood strikes or to style my phone for the holidays and other occasions.
This is super simple and other than a few simple materials, the main thing you need is a clear phone case. You can use this technique for any cell phone other than the flip style. if you can find a clear case for it, you can adopt this technique to work for you. The paper designs can be anything from something you print off the internet to wrapping paper to anything in between,
What you will need:
- Clear phone case
- Designed paper
- Scissors
- Pencil
Instructions:
Just outline the phone with a pencil and cut with scissors. make sure you cut out the area around the camera lens. when cutting the camera lens hole, I placed the paper into the case right side showing through the plastic and then traced the opening right onto the paper. this way you are sure to get the cut exactly on the correct side and placement on the paper. after cutting the lens hole… pop the paper back into the case and then the phone and you are done.
