Sports Coaches

Sports Coaches into Schools Ltd is a company set up to provide an excellent service, supplying highly qualified sports coaches to schools.

We aim to reduce the considerable pressure that teachers are currently under in our primary schools by providing fully qualified sports specialists who are trained to teach a multitude of specialised sports. This would remove the need to use teachers who are not trained in this area or who are needed elsewhere within the school.

Our coaches have undergone rigorous procedures and vetting processes (including checks) to ensure that not only do they provide excellent training, but they will also ensure discipline while introducing a fun approach to sport. Our coaches follow Ofsted-approved session plans, which are updated on a regular basis.

Give us the chance to take over full responsibility for your PE sessions within the school curriculum (ie PPA cover). You will be safe in the knowledge that physical education in your school is of an Ofsted-required standard. We believe that the children need consistency of sessions and coaches – something that a supply teacher cannot provide. SCiS will supply you with coaches who will teach the children as they continue through school.

We provide a teaching plan for children of all abilities. Sports we cover include football, basketball, netball, hockey, short-tennis, badminton, rounders and mini cricket.

It is so important that the children are taught each sport correctly while using equipment appropriate to their age and size.
We are keen at to introduce more physical education into our primary schools, to counter obesity, to encourage team spirit and to improve the overall fitness, nutrition and body-awareness of the children. We have also been proven to improve the overall discipline, health and behaviour of the children we teach. We have testimonials to prove this, and our success was featured on the Channel 4 documentary ‘The Insider Fat Boys Epidemic’, transmitted on Friday, 17th August 2007.
